Hedgehog Study No. 19 – Accent Tile

A plump, friendly hedgehog sits at the heart of this composition, rendered in soft watercolour shades of brown and cream. Encircling the creature is an intricate wreath woven from green leaves, autumnal oak foliage, and ripe acorns. Bursts of colour are provided by red berries and delicate flowers in shades of yellow, pink, purple, and blue, all set against a textured, off-white background.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
