Lodge Black Bear 2 – Tile Mural

A black bear forages for berries amidst the mossy trunks of an ancient, sun-dappled forest.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The painterly scene focuses on a large black bear moving through dense green undergrowth, its head lowered to the forest floor. Towering, moss covered trees frame the composition, with misty sunlight filtering through the canopy in the background. In the foreground, the foliage is detailed with clusters of red and dark blue berries, anchoring the animal within its lush, wild habitat.

With its rich palette of deep greens and earthy tones, this mural introduces a powerful natural element to an interior space.
