Dorado Chase – Tile Mural

A large, golden-green mahi-mahi pursues a school of silver baitfish through sunlit turquoise waters.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The underwater scene centres on the large mahi-mahi, with its distinctive blunt head and iridescent green and yellow scales, hunting a school of sardines. Below and around this chase, the ocean floor is a dense garden of colourful corals in shades of magenta, orange, bright blue, and lime green. Other tropical inhabitants, such as a Moorish idol and a regal angelfish, swim amongst the sea anemones, while patterns of light filter down through the clear water from above.

The bright, aquatic theme and dominant turquoise palette make this mural an ideal feature wall for a family bathroom or en-suite. Its lively underwater scene introduces colour and energy to the space, complementing white or neutral sanitaryware and coastal-themed decor.
