Grotto 1 – Tile Mural

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

A bustling underwater world is rendered in a rich, painterly style, teeming with marine life. Schools of orange clownfish, royal blue tangs, and bright yellow fish swim amongst corals of every hue, from fiery red and sunny yellow to deep green and purple. Two sea turtles glide through the dynamic scene, which is framed by swirling seaweed formations as rays of light from the surface dapple the sandy seabed.

With its aquatic theme and dominant blue palette, this mural is a natural fit for a bathroom feature wall, either in a shower enclosure or behind a freestanding bath. The cheerful, energetic scene can invigorate a family bathroom or introduce a playful, holiday-like atmosphere to a guest washroom.
