Snook Cruise – Porcelain Tile Mural

A large fish breaks the surface of the water, its scales catching the glow of the rising sun in a secluded mangrove estuary.

Three fishermen cast their lines into the turquoise water, one from a small wooden boat and two from the shore amidst the tangled roots of mangrove trees. The scene is full of movement, from the swirling, energetic lines depicting the water and sky to the leaping fish that forms a central focus. Decorative, scrolling foliage and colourful flowers frame the lower portion of the mural, adding a folk-art quality to the composition. A warm, golden light from the sun on the horizon illuminates the water’s surface and contrasts with the cooler blues and greens of the environment.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
