Southwest Horse 2 – Tile Mural

A chestnut horse, draped in a geometric-patterned blanket, stands watchfully amidst the arid beauty of a desert canyon.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

Chestnut horses, adorned with Southwestern-style patterned blankets, are the focus of this warm landscape. The central horse stands proudly while others are partially visible, suggesting a larger herd. The setting is an arid plain filled with sagebrush and flowering yucca, with dramatic red rock mesas rising in the distance under a hazy, golden sky.

The mural’s earthy palette of terracotta, ochre, and sage green lends a warm, rustic character to an interior. Its expansive Western scene would make a compelling feature wall in a living room or study, complementing natural wood or leather furnishings.
