Southwest Horse 7 – Tile Mural

A saddled pinto horse grazes peacefully amidst a field of colourful wildflowers as the sun sets over distant hills.

The central focus is a brown and white paint horse, complete with a detailed leather saddle, its head lowered to the abundant wildflowers in the foreground. Beyond this peaceful scene, the sun-drenched meadow stretches towards traditional adobe buildings nestled amongst rolling, hazy hills. The entire landscape is suffused with the warm, golden light of a low sun, which imparts a tranquil and mellow atmosphere to the painterly composition.

The mural’s warm ochre and earth tones introduce a calm, rustic atmosphere into a living space. Its pastoral theme and soft light work especially well with natural materials like wood and leather, complementing country or traditional interiors.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
