Blue Shells 1 – Accent Tile

A large, intricately detailed blue scallop shell rests at the heart of a tranquil coastal scene.

With its calming coastal theme and watery blue palette, this mural is a natural fit for a bathroom feature wall, perhaps behind a freestanding bath or in a walk-in shower. The soft, light-filled scene helps to expand the feel of the space, promoting a restful atmosphere for unwinding.

The central focus is a large, beautifully rendered scallop shell in shades of cobalt and sky blue, with delicate cream highlights along its ridges. Behind the shell, a serene seascape unfolds, painted in soft watercolour washes. A calm, pale blue sea reflects the gentle light of a hazy, cream coloured sky, while sandy shores curve along the horizon on either side.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
