The calming, neutral palette and aquatic subject matter make this mural an ideal feature for a bathroom or a quiet study. Its understated elegance complements both minimalist and coastal-inspired interiors, providing a serene focal point without overwhelming the space.
A large nautilus shell is presented with its chambers spiralling inwards toward the centre. Its surface is detailed with gentle, wavy stripes of sandy brown and a pale blue-grey wash over a pearlescent white base. The watercolour technique gives the shell a translucent quality, with soft edges and blended colours, suggesting the play of light on its surface. The entire composition is set against a plain, warm cream background, which highlights the shell’s natural form.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes โ 10cm, 15cm or 20cm โ and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
