Chianti – Accent Tile

A repeating pattern of rustic Chianti bottles and glasses of red wine forms the centrepiece of this design. Lush bunches of purple grapes hang from curling green vines that frame the composition, interwoven with decorative, scrolled elements. Two small vignettes offer picturesque views of a sunlit Italian vineyard, complete with cypress trees and distant farmhouses nestled in the hills. The warm, earthy palette of deep reds, greens, and ochre against a creamy, brush-stroked background gives the mural an inviting feel.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The mural’s cream and beige background tones harmonise easily with classic kitchen cabinetry and natural worktop materials like wood or stone. Placed behind a hob or as a feature wall in a dining area, its rich, food-and-wine-related imagery provides a convivial atmosphere for cooking and entertaining.
