A majestic stag stands amidst the tangled roots of an old oak tree, its gaze fixed on the viewer from within a rich, autumnal woodland.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes (10cm, 15cm or 20cm) and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The scene unfolds in a forest alive with autumnal colour, from the russet leaves underfoot to the warm orange canopy above. In the foreground, a red fox with a white-tipped tail curls up on a bed of fallen oak leaves, while beyond, the stag commands the central view. Within the hollow of a gnarled tree, two barn owls peer out, and birds fly across the hazy, light-filled sky in the background, adding depth to the composition.
The mural’s warm palette of deep oranges, browns, and reds establishes a cosy and inviting atmosphere ideal for a living room. Its classic, illustrative style would complement traditional decor, creating a commanding feature wall behind a hearth or seating area.
