Grey Heron Study No. 22 – Tile Mural

A great blue heron stands poised amidst the water lilies and reeds of a tranquil marsh.

With its calming water scene and natural palette of blues, greens, and soft browns, this mural is an excellent feature for a bathroom wall. Its serene wildlife theme complements spaces designed for relaxation, such as above a freestanding bath or on a main feature wall.

The mural depicts a detailed portrait of a great blue heron, its blue-grey plumage and fine, wispy feathers rendered with care. Standing in calm, reflective water, the bird is surrounded by the lush greenery of marsh reeds and broad-leaved plants. White water lilies with yellow centres float on the surface, while cattails punctuate the scene against a soft, pale sky, contributing to a serene and naturalistic atmosphere.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
