Hawaiian Orchid-Y – Tile Mural

Colourful orchids bloom alongside a rustic harvest of ripe tomatoes, lemons, and artichokes in this bountiful still life.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

A sun-drenched stone pantry is laden with a vibrant Mediterranean harvest. On two levels, terracotta pots and woven baskets hold blooming orchids in shades of yellow, purple, and white. Bowls overflow with bright red tomatoes, fresh lemons, and green artichokes, while clusters of grapes, figs, and olives are scattered nearby, alongside jars of preserves, fresh bread, and a bottle of olive oil.

This mural introduces a warm, rustic character to a kitchen, especially as a splashback above a countertop or range cooker. The earthy terracotta and sunny yellow tones complement natural wood cabinetry and stone worktops, infusing the space with a welcoming, provincial atmosphere.
