Manatee Bay – Tile Mural

A gentle manatee glides through sunlit waters, surrounded by a lively coral reef.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The underwater scene is centred around a large, grey manatee swimming through turquoise waters lit by sunbeams from above. Green sea turtles drift past, while colourful tropical fish—including clownfish and angelfish—navigate through the dense marine foliage. The seabed is a rich tapestry of coral in shades of orange, violet, and red, contrasting with the tall, green seaweed that frames the composition.

With its serene underwater theme and dominant palette of blues and greens, this mural transforms a bathroom into a tranquil marine sanctuary. Its composition works particularly well as a full feature wall behind a freestanding bath or within a large shower enclosure, introducing colour and gentle movement to the space.
