Quail Study – Tile Mural

The mural’s rich, deep green palette and traditional theme make it an excellent feature wall in a living room, study, or dining area. Its detailed, pastoral scene introduces a classic, dynamic feel to spaces with wooden furniture and natural textures.

This repeating pattern illustrates a classic country pursuit. Several quail with distinctive topknots are captured mid-flight, their brown and grey wings detailed with individual feathers. A brown and white gundog peers through the tall grass, while elements like shotguns, a wicker basket, and a rustic wooden fence are nestled amongst wildflowers and wheat stalks.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
