Red Kite in Flight No. 23 – Tile Mural

The mural’s earthy palette of warm browns, deep greens, and soft golds introduces a calm, natural atmosphere to a living room or spacious hallway. Its panoramic view and tranquil mood make it an excellent choice for a feature wall behind a sofa or along a main corridor, inviting the outdoors inside.

The central focus is a Red Kite, its reddish-brown and patterned wings spread wide as it soars through a soft, hazy sky. Below, a verdant valley unfolds with rolling hills, dotted with clusters of trees in autumnal shades of gold, russet, and olive green. The foreground is framed by detailed foliage and the gnarled trunks of mature trees, which gives the composition depth and a sense of looking out onto the vista.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
