Ruby-Throated Hummingbird I – Tile Mural

A ruby-throated hummingbird hovers mid-air, its wings a blur of motion as it prepares to drink from surrounding blossoms.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The central hummingbird, with its iridescent green back and bright red throat, is framed by a dense botanical display. Above, clusters of pink and purple fuchsia hang down, complemented by orange trumpet vines to the left. The lower half of the scene is filled with vibrant blue morning glories, spiky pink bee balm, and small yellow pansies, all set against a tapestry of rich green leaves. The soft, luminous background suggests a bright, sunlit garden atmosphere.
