Spring Morning II – Porcelain Tile Mural

A friendly Highland cow, with delicate wildflowers caught in its shaggy fringe, gazes out from a sunlit spring meadow.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The composition centres on a Highland cow with warm, ginger-brown fur and long, curved horns. In the foreground, a carpet of multicoloured wildflowers, including daisies and cornflowers, surrounds the animal. A clear stream winds its way through the middle ground, flanked by green banks and blossoming pink and white trees that recede into rolling, pastoral hills under a soft, hazy sky.

This mural’s expansive country scene and tranquil mood make it a wonderful focal point for a living room or a large farmhouse kitchen. The palette of soft greens, earthy browns, and gentle floral pastels harmonises well with natural wood furniture and rustic decor schemes.
