Sunflowers 1 – Tile Mural

A lively field of sunflowers turns their golden heads towards a gentle, hazy sky.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

Densely packed sunflowers in varying stages of bloom fill the frame, their bright yellow petals and dark brown centres creating a rich texture. Interspersed among their thick green stems and large leaves are smaller wildflowers in shades of pink, purple, and white, adding delicate pops of contrasting colour. The light seems to diffuse softly from a pale, creamy sky, illuminating the entire scene with a warm, gentle glow and conveying a peaceful, summery mood.

The mural’s bright, cheerful palette makes it an excellent feature behind a hob or sink in a kitchen, bringing a burst of country garden warmth to the space. Its natural theme and sunny disposition complement both modern and traditional decors, particularly those with wood or neutral tones.
