A keel-billed toucan, with its rainbow coloured beak, rests on a mossy branch deep within a tropical jungle.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on porcelain tiles in your choice of three sizes (10cm, 15cm or 20cm) and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The central figure of the toucan is framed by a rich tapestry of jungle foliage, from the delicate fronds of tree ferns to the bold shapes of bromeliads with red and orange centres. The foreground is a dense collection of verdant leaves in myriad shades, suggesting a humid and vibrant ecosystem. Behind the bird, the rainforest canopy recedes into a hazy, mist-filled valley, which gives the painted scene a great deal of depth.
With its deep greens and humid atmosphere, this rainforest mural can turn a bathroom into a tranquil, private sanctuary. The detailed composition provides an immersive backdrop for a freestanding bath or a feature wall in a walk-in shower.
