Traditional Fruit I – Porcelain Tile Mural

The warm, earthy palette of this mural introduces a rustic, provincial character to a kitchen or dining area. Positioned as a splashback behind a hob or sink, it provides a focal point that complements natural materials like wood cabinetry and stone worktops. The repeating composition works especially well to cover a larger feature wall.

A rich still life unfolds across a series of wooden shelves, filled with the bounty of a Mediterranean larder. Earthenware jugs and bowls hold luscious peaches, deep purple figs, and vibrant lemons, while pomegranates sit open, revealing their jewel-like seeds. Branches of dark olives are arranged in terracotta vases, set against a textured wall of warm red and ochre. The scene is illuminated by soft light, seemingly from the small, arched window visible in the background.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
