Badger Study No. 23 – Tile Mural

A badger forages amongst lush ferns on the mossy floor of an ancient, sun-dappled woodland.

A European badger, with its distinctive black and white striped face, is the central focus, depicted walking over tangled roots and fallen leaves. The surrounding forest is dense with ancient, gnarled trees whose trunks are covered in moss, and the undergrowth is a rich tapestry of green ferns. Soft, warm light filters through the high canopy, illuminating clearings in the background and highlighting the textures of the bark and foliage, which gives the scene a tranquil, storybook quality.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
