Badger Study No. 7 – Accent Tile

With its gentle colour palette and classic wildlife subject, this mural introduces a point of interest to a country-style kitchen, particularly as a splashback above a hob or sink. The off-white background will blend seamlessly with neutral cabinetry and worktops, complementing a rustic aesthetic.

The face of a European badger, rendered in soft greys, black, and white, forms the central point of this symmetrical composition. Encircling the animal is a hand-painted garland of green oak leaves, pale yellow acorns, and bell-shaped bluebells. The artwork is set against a plain, off-white tiled background, which gives it a clean, classic feel with a gentle, watercolour texture.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
