A jewel-toned hummingbird hovers in mid-air, its wings a blur as it approaches nectar-rich honeysuckle flowers.
Cascading vines of pink and orange honeysuckle fill the frame, their trumpet-shaped blossoms rendered in soft watercolour washes. A green and purple hummingbird provides a central focus against the warm, cream coloured background. The composition is dense with foliage at the edges, opening up in the centre to highlight the bird and create depth. The overall mood is gentle, reminiscent of a sunlit English garden.
The mural’s light background and fresh floral palette will brighten up a kitchen splashback or a dining alcove. Its delicate botanical details and natural theme coordinate well with both classic country-style and modern minimalist interiors.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes (10cm, 15cm or 20cm) and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
