Beyond Measure – Accent Tile

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The central figure is a ram, illustrated in soft tones and facing left, with botanicals growing directly from its fleece. It is encircled by a delicate wreath composed of leaves, berries, and flowers in muted shades of blue, orange, yellow, and sage green. Two small birds perch on the upper sections of the floral frame, completing the symmetrical composition. The entire scene is set against a plain, textured off-white background that resembles ceramic tile.

The mural’s soft cream background and gentle, earthy tones of blue, sage, and ochre would complement a country-style kitchen, particularly as a splashback. Its pastoral folk art design introduces a warm, welcoming character to the space without overwhelming it. This design also suits a hallway, offering a pleasant focal point upon entering the home.
