A plump, patterned bird with a direct gaze forms the centrepiece of this symmetrical, hand-painted tile design.
A central bird, decorated with scalloped feathers in shades of teal, ochre, and brown, sits perched on a swirling branch. The composition is perfectly symmetrical, framed by corner motifs of sage green leaves, slender stems, and rust-coloured berries. Set against a creamy off-white background divided by tile lines, the artwork has a rustic, illustrative quality with visible brushstrokes.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes โ 10cm, 15cm or 20cm โ and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The mural’s earthy palette of muted greens and browns complements natural materials like wood cabinetry or stone worktops in a kitchen. Its traditional, balanced layout provides an ideal focal point behind a hob or a Belfast sink in a country-style space.
