Hedgehog Study No. 12 – Tile Mural

A curious hedgehog pauses amongst the ferns and fallen leaves of a sunlit forest floor.

A European hedgehog, with its detailed brown and cream spines, sits as the central figure on a bed of vibrant green moss. The woodland floor is rich with texture, featuring unfurling fern fronds, scattered orange and brown autumn leaves, and clusters of wildflowers including purple foxgloves and bluebells. Sunlight filters through the distant trees, illuminating a clearing in the background and casting a gentle glow over the whole scene.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
