Hedgehog Study No. 5 – Tile Mural

The foreground focuses on the hedgehog, surrounded by ferns, bluebells, and mossy ground. A clear stream winds its way from the middle ground, flowing over stones and past earthy banks. In the background, the gnarled trunks of ancient, ivy-clad oak trees recede into a misty forest, where soft light filters through the canopy.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

This mural’s deep perspective and natural palette provide a restful focal point for a living room, hallway, or study. The rich greens and earthy browns coordinate well with interior schemes that use natural materials like wood, linen, and wool.
