Kingfisher Study No. 22 – Tile Mural

A kingfisher with an intense gaze perches centrally, framed by a delicate wreath of wildflowers and berries.

The focal point is a detailed kingfisher, rendered in shades of teal, turquoise, and warm terracotta orange. It is encircled by a rustic garland of white daisies, blue cornflowers, and small berries in red and deep purple, all set against soft green foliage. Behind the bird, a gentle, rolling landscape of golden fields fades into the distance, and the entire composition is set against a parchment-like background with subtle water stains, giving it the quality of a vintage watercolour illustration.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
