Several sandpipers are depicted in a repeating pattern, some standing on the rocky bank while others dip their long beaks into the water. Their plumage is a mix of speckled white and brown, with decorative, almost quilt-like patches of colour on their wings in shades of blue, green, and terracotta. The birds are set against a backdrop of tall reeds, cattails, and wildflowers, with a gently flowing river and a distant, hazy shoreline completing the tranquil scene.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes โ 10cm, 15cm or 20cm โ and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The mural’s peaceful wildlife theme and watery setting make it an excellent feature wall in a bathroom, complementing natural materials like wood or slate. Its earthy palette of browns, muted greens, and soft blues provides a calming backdrop that integrates well with neutral interior schemes in hallways or country kitchens.
