A vividly detailed kingfisher, with its bright turquoise and orange plumage, pauses on a mossy branch above a gentle river.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The central figure is a brightly coloured kingfisher, looking out over a winding stream. Its woodland habitat is depicted with an abundance of detail, from the white apple blossoms on the trees above to the irises, cattails, and water lilies that line the water’s edge. Sunlight filters through the dense canopy, illuminating the water’s surface and highlighting the rich greens, blues, and pinks throughout the scene. The overall composition has the feel of a classic nature illustration, full of life and intricate detail.
With its tranquil water scene and lush greenery, this mural introduces a peaceful, natural element to a bathroom. The deep greens and vibrant blues pair well with neutral palettes or natural materials like wood and stone, serving as an ideal feature wall behind a freestanding bath.
