Pheasant Study No. 10 – Tile Mural

A magnificent ring-necked pheasant pauses amongst the ferns and wildflowers of a British woodland floor.

A male pheasant, with its distinctive white neck ring, stands as the central figure. Its richly detailed plumage displays a tapestry of coppers, iridescent blues, and greens, set against a backdrop of verdant ferns, gnarled tree roots, and delicate wildflowers. The composition uses a warm, earthy palette, capturing the quiet, naturalistic atmosphere of a forest floor in soft, even light.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The mural’s classic wildlife artistry and warm, earthy tones are an excellent feature for a living room or a country-style dining room. Positioned above a mantelpiece or on a feature wall, its intricate detail and natural theme can ground a traditional decorating scheme.
