A male pheasant is depicted in a perfectly symmetrical, front-on portrait. Its plumage is rendered in a rich palette of earthy browns, deep forest greens, and iridescent blues, with bold, expressive brushstrokes defining each feather. Set against a plain, cream coloured background, the bird’s steady stare and vibrant markings become the undeniable focus of the piece.
