Red and Yellow Macaw – Tile Mural

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The scene centres on the brightly coloured parrot, whose red, yellow, and blue feathers stand out from the deep green surroundings. It sits on a gnarled, moss covered branch that extends across the mural, surrounded by lush tropical foliage including ferns, bromeliads, and broad-leafed plants. In the background, tree-covered mountains recede into a soft, atmospheric mist, lending depth to the composition.

The deep greens and humid, misty atmosphere of this design lend themselves well to a bathroom. Placed behind a freestanding bath or within a large shower enclosure, the mural provides a verdant, immersive backdrop for a relaxing space.
