Resplendent Quetzal 2 – Splashback Mural

Two resplendent quetzals, with their famously long tail feathers, face each other on mossy branches within a misty cloud forest.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

A pair of exotic quetzals, one facing left and the other right, provides the central focus. Their plumage is a brilliant emerald green with a deep red breast, and their long, elegant tail feathers curve down through the composition. They are perched amidst a lush jungle undergrowth of ferns, broad-leaved plants, and vibrant red bromeliads, all set against a soft, misty background of ancient, moss covered trees.

The deep, verdant greens and tranquil atmosphere of this mural establish an excellent feature wall in a living room, especially when paired with natural wood furniture and textiles. Its humid, jungle ambience can also convert a bathroom into a serene, spa-like sanctuary.
