Red Squirrel Study No. 26 – Tile Mural

The central figure is a detailed red squirrel, perched amidst a lush, atmospheric woodland. Gnarled, moss covered trees frame the scene, with a forest floor rich with ferns, toadstools, and fallen leaves in shades of green, ochre, and red. The background trees recede into a soft, misty light, which gives the composition considerable depth and a quiet, storybook mood.
