Red Squirrel Study No. 6 – Tile Mural

The central figure is a russet-furred squirrel, its fluffy tail curled upwards as it sits on a gnarled tree limb. Around the creature, the forest floor and canopy are detailed with seasonal foliage, including clusters of acorns, sharp pine needles with their cones, and broad oak leaves in shades of gold, orange, and brown. Soft, hazy light filters through the trees in the background, illuminating the scene and lending it a gentle, tranquil atmosphere.

With its warm palette of earthy oranges, browns, and greens, this mural introduces a cosy, naturalistic focus to a living room or snug. The design works particularly well on a feature wall to complement wooden furniture and soft furnishings in neutral tones.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
