A curious red squirrel, framed by a wreath of oak leaves and acorns, gazes out from this gentle tile mural.
A friendly red squirrel with a fluffy tail sits at the heart of this design, its white chest and alert ears rendered in soft watercolour tones. It is encircled by a garland of muted green oak leaves and clusters of brown acorns. Small, delicate flowers, some white like daisies and others pale pink, are interspersed throughout the wreath, all set against a warm, off-white background.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes (10cm, 15cm or 20cm) and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The warm, earthy tones and natural theme of this mural lend themselves well to a country-style kitchen, perhaps as a feature splashback behind a range cooker. Its gentle, storybook character would also create a welcoming focal point in a hallway or boot room.
