A world map is presented in an antiquarian cartographic style, set against a background resembling aged and water-stained parchment. The continents are outlined with dark ink and filled with washes of muted green and ochre, showing historical, less-defined coastlines. The seas are populated with illustrations from the age of sail, including multi-masted ships and mythological beasts, while large, detailed compass roses mark the oceans.
Chart a course across a world of myth and legend, where fantastical sea serpents swim alongside galleons in full sail.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes โ 10cm, 15cm or 20cm โ and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The mural’s warm, earthy palette and scholarly atmosphere make it a natural fit for a study, library, or hallway. Its intricate design provides a compelling focal point that complements dark wood furniture, leather armchairs, and traditional interior schemes.
