Westport Scallop – Accent Tile

The rich palette of blues, accented with warm coral and gold, makes this mural an excellent feature wall for a bathroom, perhaps behind a freestanding bath or within a walk-in shower. Its calming underwater theme and illustrative style introduce a decorative, narrative quality to the space without overwhelming it.

The focal point is an ornate scallop shell, decorated with flowing patterns in coral pink, light blue, and deep navy, all elegantly outlined in gold. This shell rests on a seabed amidst a colourful reef, with various forms of coral and sea anemones rendered in pinks, yellows, and blues. Small fish swim through the deep blue water, which grows lighter towards the surface where sunbeams filter down, illuminating tiny bubbles.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
