Brown Hare Study No. 18 – Tile Mural

A watchful hare pauses amongst dew-kissed brambles and wildflowers as the morning light breaks through the trees.

A brown hare, rendered in fine detail, sits alert in the right foreground with its long ears upright. It is nestled within a tangle of lush green grasses, wild herbs, and bramble bushes laden with red and black berries. Behind the animal, the gnarled, bare branches of old trees frame a soft, hazy sky where pale yellow light suggests either dawn or dusk. The watercolour style lends the entire scene a classic, storybook quality with an earthy, natural palette of greens and browns.
