Pheasant Study No. 6 – Accent Tile

The central focus is a male pheasant, depicted from the chest up in rich, warm tones. Its head features deep blues and greens, with a white ring around its neck, while the body is covered in intricately patterned brown and black scalloped feathers. Behind the bird, a classic British landscape unfolds with rolling green hills, copses of trees, and a pale sky with soft clouds. The foreground is alive with a variety of wildflowers, including white daisies and purple blooms, which ground the composition.
