The mural’s serene nature and the kingfisher’s association with water make it an excellent feature for a bathroom or a tranquil utility room. Its soft colour palette of blues, greens, and cream will complement neutral schemes or interiors with natural wood finishes.

Painted in a delicate watercolour style, a common kingfisher sits upon a slender branch dotted with pale blue blossoms. Its plumage is a rich tapestry of cerulean, turquoise, and deep blue, contrasted by a warm, rusty orange on its chest. The bird’s direct gaze is sharp and focused, while the surrounding branches and soft green leaves provide a gentle, natural frame against a creamy, textured background.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
