An Atlantic puffin is the central figure in this watercolour illustration, rendered with soft grey and white plumage and a vibrant orange and blue beak. The bird is framed by a delicate circlet of green foliage, interspersed with pale blue and muted orange wildflowers. Behind the puffin, a gentle landscape of rolling green hills unfolds under a pale yellow, sunlit sky, lending the composition a warm glow and a peaceful mood.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes (10cm, 15cm or 20cm) and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The mural’s gentle, natural tones and off-white background make it an excellent feature for a bathroom, where it can introduce a serene, coastal-inspired narrative. Its repeating tile pattern also suits a country-style kitchen splashback, complementing wooden worktops and neutral cabinetry.
