Hedgehog Study No. 13 – Tile Mural

The mural centres on a detailed illustration of a hedgehog, its spines and whiskers finely rendered, exploring the forest floor. Behind the creature, a misty, atmospheric forest of gnarled, moss covered trees recedes into the distance, with soft light filtering through the canopy. The foreground is rich with natural detail, from unfurling fern fronds and fallen oak leaves to clumps of purple-blue bluebells and pale yellow primroses, all in a palette of earthy greens, browns, and soft blues.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
