A curious hedgehog emerges from a carpet of autumn leaves and bluebells in an ancient woodland.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes (10cm, 15cm or 20cm) and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
The painting centres on a detailed hedgehog peeking from a bed of fallen autumn leaves and moss. Surrounding the creature, clusters of purple-blue bluebells provide a contrast to the warm, earthy tones of the forest floor, which is crisscrossed with gnarled tree roots. In the background, ancient, mossy trees with twisting branches recede into a hazy, sunlit clearing, lending the scene a quiet, storybook atmosphere.
The mural’s rich brown and green palette brings a comforting, natural warmth to a living room, especially when used as a feature wall behind a sofa. Its gentle, narrative quality offers a peaceful backdrop for a reading nook or a cosy corner, complementing both traditional and rustic décor schemes.
