Hedgehog Study No. 25 – Tile Mural

In the foreground, a detailed hedgehog explores the mossy ground amidst ferns, gnarled roots, and clusters of blue flowers. The mid-ground reveals a dense woodland floor, leading the eye towards a background of ancient oak and birch trees. Warm, golden light filters through the canopy, illuminating the misty air and casting a gentle glow over the entire scene.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.

The mural’s deep greens and earthy browns introduce a calming, natural element to a living room or snug. Its rich detail and sense of depth work especially well on a feature wall, complementing decor with natural materials like wood, linen, or wool.
