A brimming terracotta vase of golden sunflowers forms the centrepiece of this rustic kitchen scene.
Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
A bounty of fresh produce, including ripe tomatoes, plump figs, and bowls of olives and grapes, is arranged across a heavy wooden table. Behind the table, a stone ledge holds terracotta pottery, while copper pans hang from a rack on the warm, ochre-coloured wall. An olive branch laden with fruit frames the upper left corner, and a braid of garlic hangs nearby, contributing to the pastoral, Mediterranean atmosphere.
The mural’s warm terracotta, earthy brown, and golden yellow palette introduces a welcoming, sun-drenched feel to a kitchen or dining area. Its detailed composition and classical still-life subject matter would complement country-style or traditional interiors, especially behind a cooker or as a feature wall above a worktop.
