Kingfisher Study No. 1 – Tile Mural

Rendered in a classic watercolour style, this peaceful scene captures a Common Kingfisher in its natural habitat. The bird’s brilliant turquoise and orange plumage contrasts with the soft greens and browns of the surrounding woodland and mossy log. White water lilies float serenely on the rippling surface of the river, which winds its way through a forest of tall trees under a pale, hazy sky.

Every mural is printed and kiln fired to order in Somerset, England, on ceramic tiles in your choice of three sizes — 10cm, 15cm or 20cm — and two finishes, Gloss or Matt. Colours are fired into the glaze, so the design is permanent, scratch resistant and completely waterproof, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathrooms and showers.
